I usually look at there body shape and the way they hold themselves. I don't judge I just like to look.

Usually I first look at the condition on their shoes, and then that tells me lots about them. I know it sounds crazy that my "marker" for first impressions begins with the shoes, rather than the face.
I have come to find out that many people pay more attention in fixing their facial appearance and hair style and clothing, and give little regard to shoes, as they assumes "who cares...who will look at them anyway?" Well, many people do, and just like tires on a car, you have a lot riding on your shoes!!!
Hope this helps.

I look at thier face, trying to figure out if they are working through the same problems as I am. I often imagine what could be running through thier mind.
I also think that I will probably never know this person. I will never know thier happiness or thier sadness. Sometimes it is kind of depressing! :)

their clothes and if they dress well for their body size. Nothing draws the eye like an obese person in something skin tight or a little person in oversized clothes. I'm not judging, it just draws the eye.

I like observing people, you can see a lot from everyone. There facial expression, if they are worried, sad, happy, concentrated, absent, etc.
I like to see their style, how they walk, how they move, their body language,
and finally i sometimes look at the clothes, if they are elegant, sloppy, clean, dirty, in-fashion, out.
people are interesting. Good question.

Mostly people's hair, and what they're wearing, expecially the colours. I also notice they're height - think its cause I used to be self consious about being tall, until everyone else caught me up.
Also can't help noticing how most seem to have turned to the emo trend. Shame...

I notice how they interact with those they pass. It is always interesting to watch body language, eye contact and responses to verbal greetings.
People are more fun to watch than animals in a zoo!

People's cllothing for one thing. I did an illustrated book on clothing. Part 3 was "Tips on Dressing Better". I see amny anonymous people to sketch who wear awful ensembles. One section I call "Rainbow Rejects". It has one of Dad's brothers and a japanese amn I saw in japantown while I was with my lover Miyuki. She and her gal pals were amused by my drawing and suggestions as to how to improve his ensemble.

If I'm also walking, I look at other's faces. If eye contact is made, I'll nod, smile, or say "Hello". If I'm stationary and just "people watching", I tend to look at clothing styles and tattoos.

Mostly what they are wearing. Esp. if I like a girl's top or something. Or I love a guy that knows how to dress well.
