IIts difficult sometimes what a 'war' is. Certainly a 'war on terror' is nonsensical, as the very nature of war is terrifying to those that cross its path.
If you consider the 'war' as the total 'campaign' in Afghanistan/Iraq and to an extent (via its mid east puppet Israel), Palestine, Syria and the Lebenon the USA over time will lose. Which in some way is crazy as pre-Bush they were winning in that war is only an extention of Diplomacy and Clinton and indeed Bush 1 understood diplomacy in a way the 'New Century America' morons could never understand.
But to your question. Yes Israels days are numbered. Not because of war (Israel has been fighting the wrong war since 1982) but becuase its all about population numbers. The Muslim population in Israel is growing faster than the Jewish population. This was only recently arrested by huge immigration of Russian Jews. That that influx is now over, There will come a stage, unless Israel commits ethnic cleansing on a scale unseen even in the Balkans when the Muslim population of Israel will exceed the Jewish population - and remember that Israel prides itself as the only true democracy in the middle East - but at that stage Israell have a choice = dictatorship by the minority followed by apartheid or become a Muslim state. And that my friens as every Israeli knows is why its days are numbered.

Yes I agree the invasion of Iraq has now turned into a massive defeat for America.
Re Israel-I also think that the American people are waking up to the fact that the media there are being manipulated ,indeed forced, harassed call it what you like, into seeing Israel as the victim of the conflict despite the fact that it is the aggressor. For over 30 years now they have illegally occupied another countries territory and if you care to research the Hasbara Project you will understand how Americans have become duped.I do not think Israel's days are numbered, that's something they want American's to think in order to keep the money and military aid rolling in.

Before anyone goes on about how well America is doing in the Iraqi war, they should remember it was the Americans who started it. Those weapons of mass destruction have still not been found, and they never will because they did not exist. The reason troops are in Iraq is to save George Bush's face.
I'm not sure I care about Israel, those countries over there just seem to want to live intolerable lives just for the hell of it. Live and let live I say.

The war is only lost in the left wing media. You watch too much Al Jazerra.
Once the USA are let loose on the Iranian agents in Iraq who are funding, arming and training both Sunni and Shiite terrorists then the tide will turn.
Stop being a kronkite.

Israel could do itself a HUGE favour by simply offering the HELP the poor Palestinian refugees - esp. the homeless women and children whose living conditions are PITIFUL.
Unfortunately, Israel whilst purporting to be a democracy, is actually a dictatorship - if anyone dares to stand up and question the heavy politcs, they are ousted from the chamber... and this has caused the Israeli people to back-off from wanting to help the Palestinians.
Israel's leaders have dug a deep hole for themselves. They should try believing in what God teaches in the Bible re: LOVING thy neighbour etc., rather than concentrating on militarisation as their "solution."
Where in the Bible does it state:
YOU own all the land.
Or, Tear down your neighbours trees on which he depends to feed his children?
Or, if you are attacked, attack back and kill 60 times as many innocents?
Or, steal your neighbours land and build your concrete housing blocks on it, whilst imprisoning the former occupants?
Or, do a corrupt deal to get personal riches and turn a blind eye to the suffering all around you?
If Israel is doomed (and that is not certain), then their leaders have played a significant part in their own downfall.
If Iran believes they can jump into a vacuum and take-over, they are deluded maniacs. There is way too much ill-feeling against them...
Iran would also be a lot better off LOVING their neighbours... ONLY that will reap dividends!

The war in Iraq is going just as planned. The Sunnis and Shiites are killing each other and the contractors are making tons of money. The longer this goes on, the bigger purses those really running the world will have.

The war in Iraq was caused by Israel and Israeli supporters in the White House*. If you have ANY interest in this read the links below.
* (MOST USA neo cons have Israeli/USA dual nationality)
Ignore the brash style of the White House senior advisers list it was factual at the time of the attack and has changed little. It is in any case public information and no secret

I don't think that the war is lost. I guess that if you think of all the good things that happen in Iraq (Government established, schools built, people living under freedom) I don't think of it as lost. But, you might not ever hear of this, in our media because it doesn't sell. I wouldn't count out Israel, Arab countries like to push them around, but they always show them a thing or two.
