My local stores are all selling Halloween items, people are buying, When should i put them up?
Is it earlier now?
I usually put them up middle of october.

When I owned my house everyone in the neighborhood dressed up their house for Halloween on Sept.30th, on Oct. 1st. was the day we all turned on our light displays in the yard and around the house.

Put them up whenever you like - I have certain Halloween things up year round, in the house.
Outside stuff doesn't go up until the day of Halloween, because I've put too much time and effort into them - vandals don't get a crack at them.
Though that may be different up here where I live now - but then bears might get to them...

Last week of september and first week of october, Halloween is like Christmas now. 1 month advance in decorations.

My mom started buying a few things, but she hasn't put them up yet. We usually put Halloween Decorations up mid September, but as soon as stores start putting decorations on the shelves, you can pretty much put them up any time you'd like. (:

My mom is a school teacher, and she was worried that she wouldn't have time to put them up after school started, so hers have been up since the middle of August. :D
I usually put mine up in mid-September, but sometimes later. It just depends on how antsy I'm getting for fall to finally be here.
There aren't any set-in-stone rules about when its okay. Just keep an eye out for your neighbors putting up fall wreaths and stuff. When they start putting stuff up, you wont look strange. lol

As soon as the 4th of July is over. Christmas items go up when back to school starts.

I would go ahead and buy your stuff now to save money and then put them up when you usually do.
