Jeff........

even though Tim had, what?....9 albums I think, his son, to me had the better music.....he had a way with arrangements and vocals that blew me away. He could take others' song and make them all his own (Kick Out The Jams, Kanga-Roo, Hallelujah, Lilac Wine, I Know Its Over). His father was a genius in his own right. Jeff had Grace, an amazing album which was supposed to only be just the beginning.

I'm a big fan of both and have been for years.

Tim Buckley was a great artist, but Jeff Buckley was amazing.

Jeff wins this father/son battle. Tim was good, but the Grace album will be talked about for decades.

But the sons do not always win. I like Jim Croce better than his son A.J.

And John Lennon crushes both of his boys.

Much like Ken Griffey Jr., the son far surpassed the career of the father.
