No. In fact existing countries are breaking up. Serbia and Montenegro have separated, Kosovo may become independent. Scotland is starting to seek independence as is the Basque country and to a lesser extent Catalunya.
The EU will never become a country because nationhood has long since been entrenched in the minds of the people. The EU is a community and will never become one nation.

No, it is impossible. Tow real brothers can not live in the same house than how come countries with conflict of interest can become one country.
Another aspect is for a balance world they should not be one country otherwise there shall be none for check and balance in case another Bush-Belier friendship grows between USA and one of the Countries of European Union.

I suspect they will become a conglomerate similar to the United States.
Beware. There are those who would like to see such a union spread to encompass every currently autonomous country on earth. This, in itself is not such a scary prospect except that many such "one worlders" have decidedly socialistic leanings. Further, it is important to remember that when the US was first founded the intent was for the federal government to be quite small in scope and limited to handling matters of common defense and interstate commerce. Over the past 200 years it's scope has drastically increased.
I believe that it is simply the nature of any governmental organization to grow in scope no matter how well intentioned or limited its original intent. this is why we should be extremely cautious with support for such a governing structure.

Define Country...
Having one monitary system, pretty much unifies all of the little countries into a union..
They are already one country pretty much. Kind of like United States of America... we were all a bunch of little states, united under one monitary system. with some elected officials (similar to the people who run the european banks)
The New World Order, has the goals of unifiing the entire world into one governing power, one monitary system, and one group of elites to rull us all.

Yes, so will the North American Union (Canada, U.S., and Mexico), and the African Union, and the Asian Union. Eventually the elitists plan on combining the whole world into one government.

The Euro and the Schengin Agreement eliminate the borders. It's already one country with the exception of Britain, Norway, and maybe a couple others.
