hangtrojanover is wrong. In 2007 they went back to rear drum brakes with the OPTION Of disc brakes for additional money. [it was a way to allow customers to save money on new vehicles]

I just checked with my Parts department and as of this time GM has no conversion kit available. But maybe there is aftermarket.

Stainless Steel Brake company makes a conversion kit.

Try here -> http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/products/searchByVehicle/Chevrolet/Silverado_1500_(4WD)/2007
Scroll down the page to just about the bottom for the rear drum to disc conversion.

Edit: I pasted the wrong link. It is there now.

They are already equipped with rear disc brakes, just the emergency brakes are of the drum style.

I bought a 2002 rear axle that has the disk brakes from a ex-cab, and after I refresh it up a bit it will only cost me $750 once its installed.

And that includes new rotors, synthetic fluid, supporting cover, repainting, and purchasing cost.
