Have faith, my friend. Remember when we shut down the phone lines in protest to the amnesty bill? We are Americans, and while we welcome people from other parts of the world here, we expect them to become one of us, not to change us to their ways. Just keep your voice heard. Be respectful, but write letters to the editor, call and/or write your congressman, talk to others, and keep reading conservative and common sense publications. Keep on keeping on! Read this article below by Cal Thomas - Britain is almost unrecognizable because they let too many immigrants in. Americans are not so easily pushed around!!
P.S. Europe will continue to mess up, and they will whine to the U.S. to come in and save their butts!

No.
Globalism allows people to make more choices than they were allowed to make before. The poisoning comes because individual consumers decided they'd rather have cheaper products from China than higher quality products from America or other nations with higher standards of product safety.
The percentage of the US population which is foreign born is much smaller now than it has been at various other points in our history. In the early days of the Republic, only 60% of people in Pennsylvania spoke English as a primary language, and most of the rest spoke German.
While there are immigrants who kill, steal, rape, etc., I think you're horribly mistake if you think immigrants are more likely than native-born Americans to commit those crimes. Just look up crime statistics for cities with a lot of illegals, like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and El Paso. Compare them with the crime statistics for other major cities. If anything, the cities with large Hispanic populations are safer than other major cities, not more dangerous.
Just to emphasize:
The ten cities with the lowest murder rates in America (population at least 250,000 required):
Honolulu, El Paso, Corpus Christi, San Jose, Anaheim, Colorado Springs, Riverside, Portland, Austin, San Diego
Apart from Honolulu and Portland, these are all cities in the Southwest, and they are almost all cities with very large immigrant populations.

They're working on it. But there is hope. The American people prevailed in the debate on comprehensive immigration reform. Now we must prevail on NAFTA. And continue as a people to exercise our political clout.

It's a shame that the lazy, illiterate, uneducated electorate of the greatest free nation in the world are little by little acquiescing to the push towards socialism, which has failed everywhere in the world so miserably. Shame on us and shame on our "leaders."

I was in agreement with mountaindew25 until he refrenced conservatives and common sense in the same sentence.
As for your question you must include the whole government system - executive, legislative, and judicial for being at fault.

The American people have sold themselves out. By demanding products that cost next to nothing, we bring all of the things you mention on ourselves. If you shop at WalMart, you are doing your share.
