How to get from Philadelphia to Atlantic city...?

I'm 20, so I can't rent a car. What is the best way? Cab, train, bus....?

There is a train that runs from Philadelphia to Atlantic City several times a day. When you arrive in Atlantic City, all of the casino's have complimentary shuttles lined up outside the station that will take you to a specific casino. When you are ready to leave, just hop the free shuttle from wherever you are and the shuttle will take you back to the train station.

The ride is very nice and travels through the backbays, making several stops along the way. It is a lot cheaper than driving and parking.

I did this before. Take the PATCO High Speed Line from 8th and Market & get off at the last stop, Lindenwold. Thats where you board the train, the Atlantic City Rail Line. Again, get off at the last stop which is Atlantic City. This is a really quick way to get there. Good luck!

You can take Greyhound for $18 bucks round trip. It's a a little over an hour each way. The buses run all night so you can hang pretty late and not worry about getting home. Or you can take NJ transit for $8 from 30th street station.
