iam a self employed jeweller and im looking for a way to keep track of my inventory and also a software to help me price my jewellery. iv found the usual jewellery software which costs money but id like to know if anyone knows of one thats free or a way for me to make my own using excel.

any advice would be great but remeber im looking for somthing thats freeeee !!

Well, I don't know how much help I'll be. To price items may require some research and time. Look through retail store, ads, ebay, internet sites that sell jewelry and see what other people are charging and what customers are willing to pay. Try your local library and see what sources they have available for jewelry retail. Once you have your pricing together, use Excel on your computer to create spread sheets. Excel is great for creating charts. It can automatically add up a whole column of figures for you. If you're not familiar with Excel and all it's capabilities, there are definitely books on it at your library (that's how I learned). Good luck!

This is free, but if it doesnt help there is also a program on this site that u can purchase for only $5.
