I hope this is not too late. I would choose something that interest me, I like to do and I think others would be interested to know. My kids have won all their science fairs ~ 1st place. For example the other day my son and his friend wanted to see which color of clothing made them sweat the most, black t-shirt or white t-shirt. They both walked a mile and both drink the same amount of water. At the end they came up with their experiment by comparing the sweat level on the tee shirts. You can be unique plus creative, that is what science is all about!

You can test the growth of plants grown with organic fertilizers vs non-organic ones. PH levels of different types of bottled waters (you just need a aquarium ph test kit and teh water.) Remember your project needs to have a Title, hypothosis, variables, Data, Materials, procedure, results, and conclusion. It must also be tested three times.
