I am going to research him before I make a decision, however, I have heard good things about him.

Yes I do...I like what he has to say and I like his voting record...for all the people who say he's bad for not announcing his candidacy yet, I will remind them this is pretty much the earliest anyone has ever said they were running...and look most of them are running out of steam i.e. Barrack "I put my foot in my mouth daily" Obama and John "I went against the people of my state" McCain...when someone makes Hilary look good, they are very, very, very bad for our country...Fred will carry the South and the Heartland and will be the next President...can any of the Democrats do that? Nope...They will win the Left Coast and Liberal New England, but ask Kerry, that is not enough to win...
And also Fred is a Southerner...a real one not like Al "I make Millions off the fears of others" Gore

Only if he is running.
Because he is not, I have neither supported him nor considered him a candidate in the Presidential race.
He has to make a decision to run first.

Until he puts his hat into the ring, I'm keeping an open mind. Right now I am backing Romney. It will all depend on Thompson's stance on Illegal Aliens.

I do, but I'd like to know a lot more than I've heard so far about where he stands on the issues. So for now, I haven't fully decided whom I will vote for in the primary.

I will when he finally register's to run for president. He has the same values, as I, concerning illegal trespassing, kick the buggers out, and supports the soldiers in Iraq, he knowing that the time to leave is not yet at hand. If for no other reasons, those two reasons alone, is why he's my guy for the next president of the USA! Bless him.

It's too early to be throwing support to any one particular candidate. Thompson was a US senator before he became an actor. Who knows? He might be another Ronald Reagan. There's nothing wrong with that.

Fred Thompson is not an official candidate.
I support Ron Paul because he is an official candidate and I agree with his plan.
Has Fred Thompson raised less campaign contributions than Ron Paul?

not at all.
I hate the fact that he has announced he will run but has not officially declared. Which ahs allowed him to skip the debates and much of the early events. Waht has he got to hide? Since he knew he was running, he should participate in the process like the rest of the candates and try and earn the nomination rather than try and sneak in at the last second.
