What do you typically wear outside in Las Vegas in the summer?

I typically wear a white loose fitting t-shirt, jeans, comfortable light colored tennis shoes and sunglasses. Although I see many Las Vegans wearing shorts, which I'm sure helps keep the body cooler, I prefer blue jeans.

Flowered Hawaiian shirt, white trousers, white socks and white shoes, topped off with a broad straw hat. It's comfortable, cool and fitting attire no matter what the activity.
A long time entertainer here (Pete Barbutti) said it best:
"In the summer in Las Vegas the sun comes up like a laser".

Whatever you like. But consider that it can easily and frequently get well over 100F. While many people will tell you that it is a dry heat, it doesn't alter the fact that it is as hot as hell.

So wear loose fitting cool summer clothing. Wear good polarized sunglasses (I recommend Tag Heuer), and plenty of sun block if you are going to be in the sun for more than 15 minutes.
