a protonephridium is a primitive osmoregulatory or excretory organ consisting of a tubule terminating interally with flame bulb or solenocyte
-there is a tuft of flagella that project out of each flame cell so #1 is correct, therefore we can eliminate A and B right away
-protonephridium are found in lower animals that dont have vascular systems so there is no blood pressure, so we can eliminate answer #2
-as i mentioned they are called flame cells, so answer #3 is correct
-and its found in lower invertebrates that dont have blood vessels or coelom..for example turbellarians. thefore answer #4 is correct
so the right answer is C: 1, 3, 4 are each right
