...my fingers have gotten fat and i cant get them off anymore. Am a bit worried about what harm it could do to me (especially because i am pregnant).

Have tried using oil and washing up liquid - hasnt worked.

Can i get them cut off and somehow soldered back together again (one of them is my engagement ring so i definitely want that kept)? Does anyone know where i can get that done? I live in North London.

Don't cut yet! Get a piece of thin string about 30" long.push it under the ring so you have about4" on the wrist side. start wrapping the other end of the string round your finger fairly tightly, starting close up to the ring and wrapping towards the end of the finger until you reach the nail. Hold that end of the wrapped string so it can't get unwound. Then get your husband or whoever to start unwinding the string sticking out from under the ringwhile holding the string against the ring. This will push the ring onto the coiled string and move it up the finger. I hope i have made this clear. It really does work with a tight ring and boney knuckles.

Yes, the jewelry store will do it for you. After they cut it off for you, they can also have the jeweler re-size it so that it fits you. Give your fingers about a week to heal the indentation. They are likely cutting off your circulation so it may take a few days for the finger to bounce back.

You may wait until after you have the baby to re-size them because if you lose weight again you'll have them falling off.

go to any reputable jewellers, they will cut the rings off, and solder they back together for you, your best waiting until you have had the baby, and your fingers return to normal size.

The jeweler might do this for you, and they will be sure to cut it in a place that will be easy for them to fix later on. If you're desperate, it can be done at a hospital as well.

You don't need to get the ring cut off. Check out the below link on how to remove a ring. Believe me this does work. I had the same problem I tried this method and it worked.

Soak your hands in salt water or in ice water. They'll slip off.

you can but first try soaking your hands in ice cold water (makes them shrink a little) then try the oil again

you may just have oedema (swelling) i had it in pregnancy it does go down but if you think its causing problems try putting your hand in cold water, when cold the body shrinks also the water will help lubricate. good luck x
