No, the GOP platform is "family values" not human values.

Yes, don't ask doesn't work. But it's really DC's fault if a politican goes both ways:

“Once again, we’ve found people in Washington have not lived up to the level of respect and dignity that we would expect for somebody that gets elected to a position of high influence,” [the hollow] Mr. Romney said.

Don't tell doesn't work either. Here's the press release that announces Florida State Rep. Bob Allen's appointment as a co-chair of McCain's campaign. Don't tell, lol

Joe:

Clinton's version of the Dont Ask Dont Tell was intended to allow gays to serve as long as they didnt make a big deal about it.

Under Bush it has been corrupted. Now they seek out things on the internet and such to get rid of people. One base prides itself on how many soldiers theyve kicked out (funny when you consider how many were highly skilled and cannot be replaced easily now). Basically theyre using the policy meant to protect people to do exactly what was done before.

Well, the Log Cabin Republicans are in existence. Also, believe it or not, I once knew an openly bisexual guy who was a Republican. I'm a liberal Democrat, by the way.

They should, but it's their own party who wants to shun them. Most of their voter base seem to care only about 3 issues:

Taxes
Gays
Abortion.

Lol! That's the truth - and funny too!

Maybe it should be - don't ask, don't tell, and I'll deny it if you catch me buck naked with a 12 year old.
