I just don't know much about him...there are a few people I have spoken with who think he could be a great candidate, but I was just looking for other opinions...

I think he's the best choice but ultimately it's up to you to decide who you vote for.
He wants to get the government out of your life, let you keep your money, and stop interfering with countries that didn't ask for our help.
I'd suggest you do a little reading up on him. Watch a few videos of his speeches and see what you think.

He has mentioned all the actions he would take to undue what our president has done to protect the USA, however he has not stated a single action he would take,as president to protect us. By not outlining his actions, it is very hard to agree with "nothing"
