the other sytem requrements are all fine but it has an Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
video/graphics card.
will that run it or does it need a graphics card made by NVIDIA or ATI?

On-Board Video card is very nice now days. But they are still not enough to run 3D Games yet. So get a computer that has a dedicate Video Card. a Geforce 6200 is only like $40. get the 7600GT or GS series is recommended.(should be around 80-100$), If you are an Extreme Gamer, go for the 8800 Series.($300-$600, depends on model)

Most likely NOT. BUT entry level or budget graphics should be fine. Since you are getting a new PC, forget outdated cards. Consider at least the Geforce 8400GS. If you want something better, move up to the 8500GT, 8600GT level. You will surely be able to play many other games after you are through with Halo2.

one more thing to note about halo 2 pc, other than a decent video card, you MUST have windows vista. The game will not run on XP so I just wanted you to know in case you don't have vista.
