do guys really notice if you wear makeup?

last year, i wore mascara and lipstick, and sometimes eyeshadow [and i didnt put it on crappy or anthing, i hate when girls overdo it]

so now, a couple months later, i met this guy i had a crush on last year, and i woke up late, so decide to skip the makeup.

so all last year, when i wore makeup, he never gave me a compliment, and this year, when i just started talking to him without any on, he said i looked hot!

do guys just completely not notice when girls are wearing makeup at all?? because personally, i think as long as you dont overdo it and look slutty, it makes you look better, but guys dont seem to care?

i never notice makeup, i just look at the booty. most guys do that too.

It's been my experience that most guys either don't notice or when they do it's usually to complain about the mess it makes and the time it takes away from them when you are applying it.

Keep doing what you are doing and remember that less is better and don't worry if you get caught without your makeup. You apparently look good without it!

Guys don't notice make up unless its overdone and then they don't like it. When its used properly and just enhances but doesn't overwhelm the girl, they don't think its make up. Not logical, but that's men for you.
So yes they notice, but they don't know its still make up.
Really though it may just be the years difference that has corrected his eyesight.

ya, guys notice, but it's not something they really think about. they look at make-up like it's a clothing choice like "skirt or jeans" or "hoop earrings or studs". one thing i NEVER leave the house without is some lip gloss. gotta have it.

Guys do like it when you take effort to look good, but its best when it is BARELY noticeable. Otherwise your looking like your trying to hard.

I personally like it when women wear minimal to no make-up, its more sincere, like you are seeing them for who they really are.
