How can I make my rent count?

I have been paying my friend rent for the past 5 years, on time. no problems. all is good. But, I would like it to reflect with my credit history. How could I make this happen?

Rent never gets reported to your credit history unless you are delinquent and they sue you.

Rent does not get reported to credit agencies simply because it is not credit. Nobody gave you something up front and arranged an agreement to pay with you.
