Once again....I'm gonna go all SPOKESPERSON for MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASERS.....I haven't had a stain/mark/paint that I couldn't remove with them....and they're super gentle....so I'd feel safe using it on a computer screen

First try a soft cloth (microfiber or cotton) dampened with water, or some soap solution (liquid hand soap)

It should be damp enough to actually wet the screen but not so wet that water will run down the screen.

If that does not work then you can try some rubbing alcohol on the same type of cloth.

The wipes sold for cleaning glasses or monitor screens might work.

Do not use:
paper towels - they are abrasive.
dish detergent - it has abrasive salts in it.
household cleaners - they can contain damaging chemicals.

Depends on your screen. LCD or standard monitor - Start with normal window cleaner. If not strong enough then try a non gressy alcohol. If you choose to use nail polish remover then only try a small (like fingersize) on say the bottom or top right corner of the screen - because if it is a plastic screen (LCD) you want to make sure that it is not going to burn the screen (blur or melt the plastic)

You can use windex and if you don't have that try amonia. Another solution would be to try vinager and water. What kind of pen was it? A regular pen or a marker?

I had the same trouble, and iused a little bit of rubbing alcohol, and water mixed with a soft cloth and used a little bit of elbow grease and it came off.
