we have a toshiba Laptop A135 S2266 model using Windows Vista OS. The keyborad is not functioning but when put in a external keyboard it works.
Can anybody help me out?

Have a look for keyboard in the Control Panel - and see if there is a troubleshooting option there.

The keyboard is probably defective and will need to be replaced

could be a vista bug....if a usb keyboard works, i say stick with that.

Is it still under warranty?
Return it / get a replacement.
