Now no one will miss her, not ever her dog. Thoughts?

That is a very lucky dog. I saw she didn't leave 2 of her grandchildren anything. I guess that woman was evil till the day she died.

I don't know anything about her other than what I read in the article. If she wanted to leave all that to her dog, go for it.

According to the article, she left millions to her brother who is to care for the dog (out of the money left for the dog, not his).

She left money to two grandchildren with the stipulation that they visit their father's grave once a year. Must be strange grandchildren that have to be paid to visit their father's grave. She was smart in setting these stipulations. She left nothing to two grandchildren for "reasons known to them". That is only fair. I wonder what they did to warrant getting nothing. S

She left $100,000 to her chauffeur.

Billions from the sale of residences and belongings will be given to the Leona & Harry Helmsley Charitable Trust.

So, it's not like she left the whole kit and kaboodle to her dog like some people do. If I had that kind of money, I'd leave some to make sure my pets were well taken care of also.

She's an evil witch even in death. She should have left something to her grandchildren instead of being spiteful and hateful and let bygones be bygones. Even though I love animals, no animal should have 12 million dollars! There are charities and other needy people who would appreciate the money. No wonder she was called the "The Queen of Mean"! What a selfish, petty, trifling mean bi**h! Let her rot!

Wonder if I can get her interested in one of my dogs. Of course being Helmsley's dog, she might have learned a thing or two about keeping a tight fist. She might even demand a pre-nup.

Good for her. Her husband and her created the wealth, up to them to do whatever they heck they wanted to do with it. He left it to her when he died, now she left it to charities, dog, brother, some grandchildren, and driver... I am sure lots of pissed off demorats, because they won't be able to touch most of it via an inheritance tax.... Well done Leona.

She is a low-life. She proves that you can be white trash even if you are rich.

On the positive side, she did leave the bulk of her money to her trust charity. Whether that helps people who actually need it, or some other non-essential benefactors (like Stanford University for example), I do not know.

Lol, if her attitude didn't tell you anything about her, this does. All the charities in the world and needy people and she is leaving that much to an animal. LOL
