You make a good point.I remember when I was a teenager,drinking beer was so cool.But as soon as I became "of age" I quit drinking.The thrill of doing something "forbidden" was gone.

No, sex is not exciting because it is wrong in some people's blindly accepted moral system. Sex is exciting because it feels good and has many different was of practicing it.
Taboos may have an excitement to them, but it is not the driving force for many people.
