Without a doubt, Medela! Any of the Electric versions. The Medela swing is the less expensive option, you can't double pump... but it still works great. Hope that helps :)

Medela Pump in Style Advanced

Ameda Purely Yours

those are the best 2 for heavy daily use... like for working or student mommies.

They're cheaper than formula, but still pricey... if you only need one for occassional use as a stay at home mom, then there are other single electric and even manual ones that are worth the money.

Hospital pumps are the best. Medela electrics like Pump In Style come in second. If you're using it for work, see if you or if married/husband have a lactation program, then you can get a deal on one.

I went out and bought the Medela Pump in Style....hated it...hardly ever use it and wish i could somehow get rid of it. I got the "Avent Isis" manual pump for my baby shower and i swear by it...will never use anything else but this pump...
it worked miracles, it always completely emptied me, i loved it.

Avent also has an electric pump...its about $300 but i hear it's worth it!!!

Ameda Purely Yours - can be found in most hospital shops. It's very similar to the Medela but I found that it actually works better and the price is about the same as Medela, too.

Most definitely Avent Isis IQ Uno. Its a 3-in-1. You can use it with power or batteries or manually. Its so light, you can carry it anywhere. Also it locks in memory of the speed you are comfortable with in just one touch. I tried Madela.. its not for frequent user and it died on me in just a month. Hated it! Try Avent.. its wonderful!!
