I have been married to twice to men I thought I loved but didn't.
Now I am with a man I truly love and I tell everyone he is the only man I have ever loved.
I can feel the difference and we have a wonderful relationship because if it!
He was also married twice and notices the difference of just being with someone and being with someone you love.
Listen to "The Rose" by Bette Meddler Love is like a flower,,give all you can to keep it growing and alive, you will reap the rewards over and over again with each passing year! Why do you think when one partner dies the other dies also within years or months of one another? THAT'S LOVE!
I used to think love stinks but not any more!!!!!
GOTTA CALL MY MAN AND SAY I LOVE YOU !!!! Bye

Love is an emotion but it is one of those catch-all emotions. Anything that seems to be good and positive toward another, we label, "love," such as love for parents, children, object of desire, etc. So in my opinion it is an overused term, very overused. Sexual attraction, interest, that magnetic pull toward another is a feeling of course, but the decision to act on it is an "act" or a behavior in which one chooses to engage. Therefore, love cannot be a decision, in itself. I think we should just get rid of the term, love, and better define the various types of feelings we always clump into "love."

Love is not something that can be just a simple decision. It also changes from person to person. I personally think that love is all emotions combined into one:love. Its a completion in every sense of word; physically, emotionally, mentally with another being. Love stops time and the only that moves is that one special person. You probably have your own definition of love..or once you experience it you will. You just know its love once you find it. Its an incredible, amazing, magical feeling with its negative and positive traits. Its something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Remember to prepare yourself for disappointment just in case you do fall in love because you might get hurt. Its funny how that one person you never once thought about could one day be the person you cant stop thinking about...

Love is a decision. It has to flow both ways or it is not love. There is lust, affection, dedication, caring all kinds of feelings that some call love. But true love is a decision; a decision made by both participants. We decide to put the other person first. The other person decides to put us first. If one person makes this decision and not the other it is not love but obsession.

I don't think it's either. I think that love is a specific type of relationship between people, that includes the 'feelings' of love, the decisions involved with them, and many more things, including dependence and physical attraction.

Love (between humans) begins as a feeling of attraction that grows stronger and stronger. This feeling eventually prompts a decision to make the other person a part of you and your life for as long as you may live, since life without that person seems to be incomplete and empty.

Love is an action. Feelings often lead to wrong decisions. Love is wanting the best and working at it.

Love is willing the good of the other as other, and not as an extension of one's ego driven needs. Love is an act of the will, the truth and depth of conviction of which is demonstrated in decisions and choices.

Love is a feeling, you dont choose to love or to not. Most of the time love finds you and when it does you are so happy you dont want to leave it.
