As soon as you are able to give your baby an actual bath. Usually when the cord falls off. My son loves getting in the tub with me or my husband more than by himself. He can play around more and bath time just seems easier. Now he loves anything water. Loves pools, showers, hoses anything water. Its a personal choice, but if you introduce it early chances are your baby will be more comfortable in the water.

I had my son in the tub a week after he was born (as soon as his cord fell off).

I always found it way easier to wash the baby while he was on my lap rather than leaning over the tub so that's what we did most often.

I think when you have the baby in the tub with you they tend to spend more time in the water because you're not in a rush and they learn to enjoy the water more. As soon as my boy sees water these days he gets so excited because he loves bathtime!

I bathed my baby in the tub with me from the very beginning - it was just easier to be in there with him holding him and it was also a nice way to further bond.

as soon as the cord falls off the baby can bathe with you. He may not like it at first, but soon it will become a great experience for baby and mommy , or daddy!!!! Babies love to shower with daddy!!
