Why is it that on almost every soap opera the people are Catholic????? Not bashing just curious.

don't know but you are right! I guess confessionals make for good drama. That's usually how we find out someone did something bad!!

They may be Catholic, but they don't practice it. You're very observant. I'll have to listen closer. I know there was a priest/minister on OLTL, but he disappeared. They called him a priest, yet he was married. Maybe he was Episcopalian....dunno.

Just so you know I am catholic, but I don't know. I mean that seams a little racists to mean. Why cant all the people on General Hospital be Jewish??? Good Question!

It is that way on most shows. I think it is because it is the religion most people think of when on screen. Most movies are the same way.

Wow you are right. Never really paid attention. I guess because Catholicism is so common that's what they use. That's just my assumption though.
