It can last a lifetime.. or it can fade away. A loving relationship has to include trust, respect, intimacy & communication. Marriage does take work from both parties even with love. Whoever said all you need is love never picked somebody's dirty underwear off the floor for 17 years..

i question finally worth of answering......hard to say darlin...the first love of my life lasted about 6 months, but then i was in grade school....but lets not get love confused with lust...for love is something so powerful no one is able to escape it..it will last as long as your heart sees it as as good for the soul, so far, mine has lasted 12 years....working on 13...

Love can last forever. Love is a commitment to each other to love, honor, and cherish each other. Love is not always easy and sometimes it has to be worked at and sometimes you have to compromise. Love is great and it can last forever.
