Just a guess here but; he is "circumcised" isn't he?

It may just be that he has learned to keep his sounds of sexual pleasure to himself after years of family living, or as many of us cut guys believe our orgasms are a little flat. No reflection on you, we just lack the nerve tissue to give us a full response.

A study published in the British Journal of Urology (April 2007) proved that "circumcision" removes the five most sensitive areas of the penis and that no area on a "circumcised" penis compares to that which was cut off. The glans (tip of the penis) is actually the least sensitive area of the penis and that is what is left after "circumcision" for a boy to feel pleasure with.

Different people having different ways of expressing pleasure, its not just all that moans and groans.

I feel that he seems to be having pleasure. If your boyfriend isn't enjoying, he wouldn't be even able to have an erection, worst to say ejaculations. You can tell if he is enjoying - is he plain "poking" you or is he affectionately making love with you?

Of course the best way to find out is to ask him after the activity. In the current era, there is nothing to be shy of as well.

Don't worry about it, I don't make much noise at all either with a girl or by myself, still enjoy it though. Noise doesn't bother me at all, I'd rather be with a girl who is naturally quiet than a girl who moans and screams just because she thinks she is expected to!

Some men dont make any sound during sexual intercourse.

It comes from a very distant instinct that tells them to not make noise when they are vulnerable,

Relax, if he didnt like you the chances are he wouldnt be having sex with you.

If you're really interested in hearing his voice while you're doing it encourage him to tell you something you would like.

The more he unwinds the more chances of him "making noise"

Maybe you're the lucky one. Some remind you of steam engines or a huge ship clackson.

As a male, I make no noise, either. i think that this is psychological and stems from childhood. Most of us learned to masturbate as part of puberty, and were afraid of getting caught by our parents. Because of that fear, we learned to be silent when orgasming. This has nothing to do with your boyfriends personal feelings towards you, but rather his psychological reaction to actual ejaculation. This is so common as to be normal, as opposed to a "mental disorder".

To find out if your boyfriend is receiving pleasure, open and honest communication is the best method. Additionally, I suggest becoming more vocal in bed with him. While he is doing something that gives you pleasure, tell him. Encourage him, and tell him how you want things to be. Phrases like "harder" and "faster" not only guide and direct him, but make it easier for him to do the same for you. This guarantees not only more pleasure, but more fun as you explore each others bodies, and you will know what he truly likes. You may just find out some things about yourself, too.

Hope this helps.

i know what you mean. it can be a bit of an "anti climax" when it just happens all of a sudden, with no build up noises. but i can understand more from what others said.
its a huge turn on to hear how excited he is, that he cant help moaning etc, that your making him so out of control

Lots of people don't make noise. Paul W got there before me - my theory is also that after years of jerking off, usually with family members in the house, people learn to be silent.

If you're worried about it, ask him. Some guys just don't make a lot of noise when they are involved in sexual activities.
