Well depending on what kind of dress your looking for...I would try Kohls's or Macys..somewhere like that for a semi-formal but classy dress. You can always head to the mall and they usually have many stores to choose from. good Luck,

I purchased a simple black dress from target.com. I dressed it up with accessories and a sash underneath my bust and no one could tell the dress was from target. I also liked this one:
