Hi Sue,
The closer they get to the truth, the more uncomfortable Gerry is getting. He must be hiding something. The sooner the truth about what happened to Madeleine comes out the better.

Georgie you said
"He's probably sick to death of being questioned by people who should be out looking for his daughter. "
So the journalist should be out looking for his daughter? How about the Mcann's stop sitting by the pool all day and start looking themselves? Surely they're the ones who SHOULD be looking for her, not the journalist.
As for the question, I know the media have been saying that he stormed out and all that, but what you see in the video is completly different. He simply walked out for a bit, he didn't rip his microphone, as some papers are saying.
The thing is, it still doesn't seem right, if the PR had cleared the questions with them, why did he act that way? If he has got nothing to hide then why not just say they only know what every one else does, they are waiting for the results and just leave it at that. There was no reason to act the way he did.

the truth is he and his wife have been told not to answer questions on the investigation
all that was reported was that he ripped of his mike , it didnt tell you he had been asked the question twice already , and had already answered twice , " i cannot comment on that as it is part of the investigation " on the third time he was asked he ripped of the mike and walked off
what also wasnt reported was that he returned and apologised , and finished the interview
hope that helps
its a baffling case this , i am still not sure who or what to beleive
all the best
Ian

Yes, he had a tantrum on Spanish network TV.
The problem may have arisen because all the interview questions were OK'ed in advance by Justine McGuinness - even the ones about the blood and if the McCanns were the last people to see Madeleine alive. Gerry McCann was angry because for once he did not control the interview - the interviewer did. He uses his alleged inability to discuss aspects of the case as an excuse for not answering questions he doesn't like. Nothing more sinister than GM wanting control over the way he is portrayed by the media, but unfortunately that is never possible, so he's going to have to get used to uncomfortable questions or avoid the media altogether.
I think the couple needs to get out of the limelight - FAST. The media is a bigger, more ravenous beast than they could ever have imagined. If GM is unable to control his temper, all the more reason to avoid TV and radio interviews.

I try and remain as neutral as possible when it comes to the McCanns although i know i have vented my feelings at time mainly for them leaving the kids alone in first place and the lack of remorse or feeling shown.
I would have more feelings for them if they admitted what they did was wrong and showed some emotion.
As for the storming out I guess no parent likes to be talking about the way their kid was possibly murdered especially if it's hinted that they did it!

I saw the interview and one thing is clear, he didn't like the question at all. I think his reaction was 'over-defensive', the reporter wasn't being rude or anything.
He could have just said: “I’d love to answer that question but I can’t, I'm not allowed”.
They are both so weird.

Not only have they suddenly lost their young child, but now they are being accused by the Media of murdering her. To add salt on their wound; they can’t speak up and defend themselves; Not only because they are not allowed to do that legally, but because they love their daughter, and they don’t want to jeopardise the investigations
Can you imagine what is it like to be in their situation?
I’d imagine the people who are saying “he is angry”, “that is not normal” or “something fishy” are the same people who would just crumble down in a foetal position waiting for their time to end.
Very very cowardly… not an ounce of dignity
