That would be up to the board and congregation of the church. Because of my health, I would not attend a church that permits smoking. It is the same reason why I do not visit places that allow smoking in common areas or have separate rooms for smoking.

Because churches survive on giving, they appeal to the majority of the givers. The other problem is who is responsible for repairing burn spots.

Heck no. I'm a smoker and I wouldn't want that in church. You're there to worship god, not to be smoking.

outside yes b/c people shouldnt feel like they have to change just to come to church... plus smoking isnt a sin. you'll get into heaven-- it's just that u'll smell like hell!
