Obviously, the questioner is not a Californian.
Us, Californians, think that arnold is a much worse governor than Gray Davis was.
arnold is not even competent to balance a budget unless the republicans demand him to.
He is beholding to special interest groups and big business is moving out of California because of his incompetence.
Just yesterday, I heard, in the news, that Wonder Bread will be leaving California for greener pastures.
arnold can't even stop fighting with his wife long enough to have a nice dinner in public.
Ans, as he said, he admires adolph hitler, and other dictators.
Heck, I bet he even admires george w. bush.

Many good presidents from California?
Herbert Hoover was from California. Remember him and the great depression?
Richard Nixon was from California. Remember Watergate and the cover up. He resigned or would have been kicked out.
Ronald Reagan was from California. While the best of the bunch he was no knight in shining armor. His economic policies increased the deficit exponentially.
Schwarzenegger would probably do okay. He would get as he does now, good advise from his wife's family. They have been extremely successful in politics. (In case you don't know his wife is a Shriver which is part of the Kennedys of Mass.)

He's not president material. He's an actor, not a politician.. Not everyone thinks he's doing a great job in California. In order to make the budget he cut some very important social services. Granted, it's a huge job and I've seen worse but I know there's got to be someone with more political experience to run the country.

What the hell did Reagan do for this country? He was the start of the down slide then Bush senior followed in his foot steps! Just like Arnold they both should have just stayed in Hollywood making movies!

sure if you want to perpetuate the thousand year Reich ?
His dad was a Nazi, that believed in Eugenics... Arnold has been shown to be a wanton ego maniac with no sense of self control or conscience... his "winner take all" has served him well and his marriage to a Kennedy seems more than coincidence from a man that has been heading for something all his life ...
Go ahead and elect the terminator and see what happens next ....

Why do Republicans keep wanting to elect actors to the highest office in the land? Do you feel the job is so unimportant, ANY moron can do it? Actors read SCRIPTS, they don't have ideas. And they certainly don't know the first thing about passing laws or protecting the citizenship.
Now you want to elect a FOREIGN actor as President? And what happens exactly should Austria declare war on us? Where would Arnie's loyalties be?

I'd have to see more from him than a couple of movies and a couple of years as governor of CA to sway me. What change has he brought to CA?

I really believe that he would make a great president. I mean he is about the only bi-partisan person that you here. His wife is a Democrat and he is a Republican. Their ideas have worked.
