aaw honey i know how you're feeling ... i feel so down alot too, coz i have heaps of problems like you !! don't worry about it, most of these issues will blow over soon enough.
-The boy that joked when he said he liked you - he's not worthy of your admiration, just try to forget about him and find someone else who deserves you when its the right time!
-You got a b? Hun that's great, don't worry!! Getting a B is awesome you know!? Getting a C is average so anything over that is great :) you should be proud of yourself!!! :) Dont compare yourself to your friends.. and grades arent everything either.
-You dont win the math comp...keep trying, and at least you tried in the first place 11 times without giving up.... that is way better than winning something!! You show courage and determination to do it 11 times... i admire you for that :) keep trying and even if you dont win, its not the end of the world!!
-Parents dont come home - just coz they're not there doesn't mean they don't care!! They're just really busy...but they still love you..what about the people whose parents NEVER tell them they love them?
-Yeah ur bro can be mean? my sis is mean to be sumtimes too, just try and ignore it or get back at him with defensive words (dont hurt him physically or something tho, u might get in trouble!!)
-FOB rocks :) umm well maybe you can suggest going w/ your brother .... or asking with your friends if they want to go to. tell your parents how unfair you think it is that your brother can go. Is he older than you?maybe thats why he can go..?
-your friends aren't true friends if they dont appreciate you or think you're weird ... try and find new friends if you're unhappy; otherwise tell them they are upsetting you and don't show them your homework anymore unless they help you out too. it's unfair on you otherwise.
-When you're sick.....you cant do anything about that sorry huni but remember someone in the world loves you even though you dont know them... they care ... and also i dont know you either but if you're feeling unwell i want to know how you're doing :)
Hope this helps, hold your head up high , keep smiling and KEEP HOLDING ON.... :)

OK, here goes...item by item.....
(1) you are attracted to jerks; look for a nice guy
(2) a B is a good grade, don't worry about what everyone else got; everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, be proud of your B, you earned it the right way
(3) how cool that you have earned the right to be sent to 11 math competitions! you should be proud of going, how many people never get that chance?
(4) I'm sure your parents do love you but are working very hard to provide you with the things you need and want. It's not easy to keep a family afloat these days.
(5) brothers are often mean, it's nothing personal, just part of growing up
(6) if your brother is older than you, it makes sense that he would be allowed to go, even if you're not. It is just a priviledge that comes with age. I'm sure FOB will be around again when you're old enough to go.
(7) if people are only nice to you when they want something, they're not really your friends at all and you need to find new people to hang out with
(8) I'm sorry you were sick. If none of your so-called friends called to see how you were, again, they aren't really your friends.
Most of what you are going through is typical growing pains. It is unfortunate but true. One thing you can change is who you choose to hang out with, both male and female. The other is the angle from which you look at things. You are frustrated and so looking at the dark side of everything. You need to start practicing finding the bright side. It makes life much easier to bear. good luck!

1. the boy - forget him. Find someone else.
2. see about getting a tutor. They can help you get your grades up.
3. Work harder. Winning is something you earn.
4. Maybe you could try to work out a time for all of you to be together?
5. He's a boy. Deal.
6. If your brother is older, that's probably why.
7. Do you ask others how they are doing when they are sick? What goes around comes around.

First, parents can get SO busy I know, please tell them how you feel. I know most parents would die of happiness if their daughter asked them to spend time with her!
All brothers can be mean sometimes, as long as he's nice sometimes too then you know he still loves you. :-) Kids have different rules, parents have to treat you both differently it's just how it is, sorry about the concert though. Maybe you could ask your parents to take you? They'd probably love it!
It really sounds like you're depressed, you really should talk to your mom or dad about how your feeling. These things are not so horrible and they will be over soon and you won't even remember the test or concert.. have a girl friend over, order some pizza watch a chick flick and talk horribly about the boys that have ignored you, it will make you feel better. :-)

It sounds to me like you have a bad case of the teen years, I dont know how old exactly you are but I would think you are a teenager going through all the typical problems that rock your world when you are that age, and that for the most part will be meaningless in a few years....
Just take it one day at a time, set your priorities, make boundries for you and for your friends and try to relax.

talk to your parents. Just have fun in life its way to short. Stop dwelling on bad things, think postitve. Is your brother older? Thats probably why he gets to go to concerts. All brothers are mean. If like wasn't unfair it would be dull. Think people have worse and more serious problems than you do.

You could look at it this way:
I have good parents who protect me from things that might cause me harm.
I have a brother who will be with me and share our common history for my whole life.
I am in a good school which pushes me to do the best I can and gives me lots of opportunities to learn.
I get to meet lots of other kids and get good experience at figuring out which are the ones worth my time.
If you can look at the glass as half-full instead of half-empty, you'll be a lot happier as you grow and learn. You're going to be just fine!

It's not necessarily what happens to you in your life, it's what you Do with what happens in your life.
Pick your chin up and look at the sun and find your own happiness, and stop comapring yourself to everyone else, and find yourself some new friends, and you can only do this by letting go of the so-called "Friends" you currently have.
