That depends.
In spur-of-the moment duels and game world ambushes I'd say that the rouge usually has the advantage.
Rouges have stealth and can move when attacking, but more importantly, their PvP build is very similar to their PvE build.
Warlocks built to do the best in PvE are usually not so good at PvP because they'll be using the Viodwalker. In PvP you can choose to ignore the viodwalker (and you should) so it negates its effectiveness.
A PvP ready warlock, however, will have his sucumbus out, which means you'll be looking at charm, fear, and curses. Those pile up fast, and the advantage can shift back to warlock.
Of course, player level, player equipment, player items and espetially player SKILL can alter all of that. So a genrealy statement simply can not be made. In PvP rouges want to go for a stealthed opening with well-timmed interupts and be constantly moving. Warlocks need to pile on the fear with lots of lovely DOT spells.

Depends on the skill of both players. Any warlock can beat any rogue, and rogue can beat any warlock.
Warlocks are easier to PvP so most of the time the warlock will win, rogues really only stand a chance after lv66 when they get cloak of shadows, it makes them have a 90% chance to resist all magic effects.

i would say it depends on how the players use the talent points, and the skill of the players. what abilities they choose to use, the gear, the gems, the buffs. and what demon the warlock will use, will they allow rogue to start out in stealth?
so many variables.

It depends on SOOOOO many things like:
Talent builds(PVE orPVP) and Spec of both warlock and Rogue. Resiliance, resists, Gear, LOS. If u are talking about Duels they mean JACK ****. as to arena all depends.
