When I try to start engine i have to try it many times. I put the key to the hole , and i turned the key , but nothing happened. It gives me error such as "ESP Defective" , "SRS Defective". But after 10 - 15 try it works without any error.

I went to 2 different Mercedes sevice, one of them said "Your car computer damaged, need to change" , the other one said "Key hole defective, need to change".

If anybody know the solution or have same problems, i'm waiting your answers.

Regards, (srry 4my english)

The error codes are erroneous codes that set because of a voltage drop in the system, these systems are very sensitive to voltage drop problems.I would suggest getting the electrical system checked particularly the alternator and battery, tell who ever does the work to look at the battery cables and ground points to make sure they are free of corrosion and rust.
If this does not cure your problem the most obvious cause would be the ignition switch.

It could be either of these problems or even a combination of both. I would start with the ignition switch first as it is the cheapest. If that does not work, then the computer. Most likely it is the ignition where the key goes in. If you are using a replacement key, get a new one made by Mercedes because the cheap duplicates made by other stores can actually damage the ignition switch causing the problems you are having.

I agree with the Canadian Auto mech. Check all the wire connections first (especially the grounds) as the costs are minimal. Then if no hard faults try the switch first. I always go cheapest to most expensive with intermittent faults.
