Mind and Spirit are One. Division does not truly exist. Perception of division is in those who do not fully accept both aspects of their being. Those in conflict with the spiritual sacredness of their being will say "Mind over Spirit". Those in conflict with the physical earthiness of their being will say "Spirit over Mind". Some may deny one, the other, or both entirely because they are in such conflict with the Oneness of their being. Such denials do not change the truth of our existence. They only frustrate and hinder our being from movement toward the goal of authentic self acceptance... unity, balance, peace... within my self & between God and myself. That is Most Desirable to me.

Mind over spirit

Mind over spirit because the mind is always above the spirit. Spirit over mind is likely not tenable for the spirit is under its mind. The mind represents the head and the spirit is to body. What therefore leads must first come. And what is behind must follow. This may be rhetorical but it is more desirable for me.

Spirit over mind.

A very interesting question. My answer would have to be both...but not at the same time. Depending on what the situation calls for would be which one I chose. For example, if my spirit or heart tells me to go tell one of my close friends that maybe they're acting like a stupid little child, I would chose that my mind give me the knowledge to do so in a way that would not hurt them.

And for spirit over mind, I have a personal example. I was scared to date again, I was really terrified of dating because of previous experiences in my life. But then, I found out that a guy I had known and been good friends with for 5 months liked me and wanted to ask me out, but was afraid I would say no. I texted him and told him "I would say yes"...because I was tired of listening to my mind tell me I should be afraid, letting my spirit choose for me. Now, we've been together for awhile and I couldn't be happier!

Spirit over mind. The spirit is strong and will be able to guide the mind into the right paths. The mind can be controlled and without definition and guidance it can be useless.

Mind is mind and spirit is spirit .One is a record of each moment of your life and other is the enjoyer or experiencer of that moment .you cannot have one over the other as both are having their different jobs to do .One gives you thoughts the other puts it into words and deeds .so if spirit chooses to ignore the thoughts of the mind the mind minds its own business .This is enlightenment ---Spirit never dies .mind is mere memory stored for billions of countess millinums

Spirit over mind any day of the week! When I align my personality (mind/ego) with my spirit that is when things seem to fall into place....when I do the opposite and lead with my mind (ego) I am not being my authentic self and it causes me much turmoil.
