To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs >

Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.

Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."

Then get Safari

http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

or Firefox

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

hope that helps!

:-)

The fact that you installed IE7 and your PC is now slow may be indicative of a corrupt installation. To uninstall Simply go into Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel and uninstall the application. This will roll the Installation back to IE6. Depending on where u downloaded the upgrade, you may also have spyware on the system so check out any suspicious 3rd party applications and uninstall them as well.

If you're running windoze, you need to have a version of IE on it. Microsquash won't let you download updates and patches with any other browser. And as buggy as software is today, you gotta keep up with the updates, or you'll have more viruses than a sleazy brothel.

But try downloading Firefox. It's easy to use, and usually faster. It's not loaded down with all the bloatware that Microsoft is famous for.
