go to black churchs before the election and no where near after the election. why when a repulican is gay they make it out to be a big deal. some people i know are gay do not flaunt it and wish to have family values. to make this country greater.

Just don't try to condem everyone that is and secretly be one yourself!
The guy is like Rush---All drug addicts should be locked up and the key thrown away----UNTIL I GET CAUGHT.

People only make a big deal out of gay republican politicians because they have invariably been the most vocal opponents of gay rights prior to being outed.
If a liberal democratic politician came out of the closet, and said, " I kept my identity as a gay a secret because all my life I have seen gay men discriminated against. That is why I have championed for the rights of peope no matter their sexual orientation. I have admired other prominent gays who have been brave enough to come out and today, I wish to join their ranks" or something like that, many people would rightfully cheer him. That is why Barney Frank is still a Congressman.
But some guy who keeps closeted while he fights for legislation against gays and then when discovered in the act insists he is not gay - that is a very low person.

Are you referring to Larry Craig (R-ID)? If so, this is a lame attempt at spin, and EXCUSING disreputable behavior.
As a conservative Democrat, let me tell you what I believe is WRONG about Larry Craig's behavior:
I don't care what anyone's sexual orientation is; live and love, and that is all I believe God wishes us to do.
As a PARENT, it horrifies me that this behavior was going on in a PUBLIC REST ROOM, where my son could have walked in.
FAMILY VALUES? Is THAT family values to you?!

I am not making a big deal over it, but it does show what hypocrites Republicans are!
It is similar to those who are against abortions but have them. The only moral abortion are theirs!
