My wife (which may soon be my ex) removed me from her account suddenly. I do not want pre-paid or pay as you go. Cingular said that I would need to pay a $500 deposit. Is there a loop hole to this?

Try Verizon or someone else.

500 deposit? ouch.

Since you dont have a contract with ATT, try T-Mobile. They have generally lower credit requirements than ATT, and if you had a bad account with ATT, then you dont have to have that hanging over your head.

I mentioned T-mobile because they also have a lot of free phones with a new contract. And with the MY Faves thing, you can get free calling with your wife, or your divorce attorney, if need be.
