The State Attorney General of New Jersey, Stuart Rabner, has issued a mandate requiring law enforcement officers to notify federal immigration authorities whenever they arrest suspect who is determined to be an illegal alien. Why was this not the policy in the first place? Who benefits from not passing the information on to the proper authorities? Why does it seem that America is affording the illegal’s more rights than it’s citizens?

It's past time to start inforcing the immigration laws.
Any politician or law enforcement officer who refuses to enforce our laws should be arrested and lose their job.
I don't care if the illegal is from Mexico or Iceland, deadfish white or blacker than a coal mine.
Illegal is illegal, round them up and ship them back.

This was not the policy in the first place because the Governor of New Jersey, John Corzine, is beyond the valley of Liberal.

He was in a serious car accident and was nearly killed speeding and not wearing a seat belt. When released from the hospital he held a news conference pronouncing his shame at breaking the law and promised to be a better example in the future. His motorcade was clocked at 70mph in a 55mph zone on the way home.

The one time mayor of Camden NJ, Milton Milan, was himself a low level drug dealer and money launderer. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison eventually.....U.S. District Judge Joel A. Pisano was unsparing as he castigated Milan for taking mob payoffs, using city contractors to perform free work on his home, laundering money from a drug dealer, committing insurance fraud, using vehicles supplied for free by a towing contractor and selling a stolen computer to an intern.

Milan, the judge said, was "more enamored of the trappings of the office than his duties."

Illegal immigration is barely a speed bump in the issues that face the people of NJ as a result of liberal policies there.

I agree, there is a lot of material on this subject. But the politics around these issues are defineatley shady at best.

I once read an article in which a man wanted to know how to become a non-citizen to get more assistance (and rights) from the goverment. Since then I have been more aware and sickened by this whole thing....

Apparently they believed that it wasn't the job of police to report illegals to the authorities. What is so crazy about that lack of cooperation amongst authorities, is that it what allowed 911 to happen and that was why they created the Dept of Homeland security. It's never too late to make a wrong a right.

Fulanito is a liar. Lying doesn't help your cause, Fulanito - - look, there are valid points made by those who just want to come here and work, but if you lie on their behalf, those valid points are forgotten and all anyone remembers is the lie. I'm just trying to help you here.

It only seems that way and I am sure you have no proof otherwise!

What is so hard for you to understand? The paleo Republicans want the illegals to be gone. The other 1/2 of the Republicans need them for slave labor! That's why nothing gets done!

Why don't they start arresting their employers. They ARE committing a crime!

You have a lot of learning to do. The U.S. became what it is now from ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION centuries ago, it is merely a cycle that has kept on going century after century.
