They probably don't see it as a valuable category. Maybe it's because you don't have to have any real knowledge to answer the questions?
That still doesn't make it right. The badge is "Top Contributer" not "Smartest Answerer."

Maybe it is true what Curious Orange said of P&S, there is only a funniest answer not a correct one, but even if your contribution is purely a humorous one it is still a contribution, right?

LOL! It's debatable what P&S contributes. Gives me a little giggle sometimes, but it isn't exactly high-minded.
P&S is all about asking questions. Not answering them. There's never a correct answer, just a funniest one.

Nope haven't heard the reason.Looks as if they just got rid of them here at polls......which is say. Haven't heard why they did this tho. I looked....couldn't find anything

Polls & Surveys have them,,,you just have to do more work apparently....back in the day...I had one...ahhhh...those were the days!!!!

Very good Q. Spidey for which I have no answer..?....Just seems to me that P&S gets no recognition what so ever when we are clearly the "Best Of" over any other catagories!Geesh,what are they thinkin'?=)
