Yes. The doctors have bought and paid for the Republican party and it is not in their best interest to have health care for all.

Yes. One wonders what they are working for here. Health care that is so expensive that no one can afford it? And for the "20 year guy," I see people walk out everyday from the clinic because they don't have health insurance and can't afford it--and aren't looking for a free ride. I've also seen plenty of people that the emergency room put into bankruptcy.

Well, in a word - YES. Our country needs to be protected from those who would destroy us. Maybe you haven't looked at the way the "religion of peace" has treated people. Who said that the government "owes" us health care anyway? More entitlement for people too lazy to do for themselves. Look around the world and try to find where social-medicine is working. Michael Moore and his moronic "film" about great health care everywhere but in America is a joke. Wake up and do something about the problem instead of sitting on the couch and expecting someone to hand you a life full of gifts!

Nearly 50% of those without insurance are illegal alliens and they still get treated.
A neighbor has a good job,2 kids and no health insurance,he's making big car and house payments instead.

Yes,we need a program for those who work and can't get insurance for some reason.

Turn over Health Care to politicians ?
No way.

I have relatives, thru my deceased wife, who live in Canada and they come to the US if they get sick.
Canadian socialised medine is a complete joke.

Let's not try to change the facts in order to change history. Democratic politicians voted in record numbers FOR the war. So in reality, your questions should be:

Is war more important to politicians and the American people than health care.

It's so freaking disturbing that 9 million children don't have insurance. This is how the US shows she cares for her people. Our founding father's are probably rolling in their graves now.

I happen to believe we must win against terrorism to have a future as Americans.

Shame on those who wish for global warming and healthcare to be priorities while our nation is at war. How much fear do we need to carry AS A NATION? Let's win one war at a time!!

Everyone in America has healthcare. Just do what the illegals do and use your local emergency room as a primary care facility.

For anyone who claims that there is not universal health care, I dare you to provide the name of anyone you know who walked into an emergency room and was denied help.
