I just bought this used car, and the fabric is peeling off of the roof of the interior. What are the best ways, and techniques to fix this problem for good? Any special products?

Thanks.

You must remove the backing board out of the car. Peel the rest of the fabric off and sweep off the deteriorating foam backing. Measure the length and width of the board and go to a fabric store and buy more headliner material. Get a spray can of 3M spray adhesive (they may sell it at the fabric store, but you can get it from an auto parts store too) and spray it on the board. Gently roll the material on the boar like a pie crust, pressing it in to conform to all the contours. Trim the edges and cut out the holes for the visors and the dome light is any and re install in the car.

Best to pull out the headliner board and fabric and clean/reglue with 3M Spray Trim Adhesive---parts stores carry it.
