This is the behavior which led to Larry Craig's arrest:
The officer said in his arrest report that Craig began tapping his right foot, touched his right foot to the left foot of the officer and brushed his hand beneath the partition between them. The senator was then arrested.
Hmmmmm.....

to Holy cow........
I say HOLY COW!!!! I had been trying to give Larry Craig the benefit of the doubt, that perhaps there was a misunderstanding.
And even though dirty pinko liberal homos will celebrate, Larry is gone.

Having lived in the nations capitol where lewd homosexual behaivior is rampant, police do exhaustive research as to the behaivior of these people. They would have not arrested Craig unless it was a clear indication that he was "looking".
And before anyone can admit guilt in a court of law they are asked a series of questions before thier admission of guilt is accepted. No one could have been in a more powerful position to raise a stink on his arrest if he was in fact not guilty.
And on a nother note...I find it very disturbing to think that some of you...however small the number is...actually think that this is some "liberal" witchhunt! Its time for you as a republican to start acting responsibly and hold these men accountable. This has been the most scandalous administration in the history of our country. And even with control of both the house and the senate for most of Bush's two terms they still couldn't keep themselves from public embarrassment!!

Either that is a short partition or the Sen. has extremely long arms.
What if anything was said by the Sen.?
Did he display any body parts?
The more I read on this,I see a cop trying to make points by arresting a politician, especially a Republican.
If the Senator had,
Grabbed the cop by the butt and said," oooo Baby, let's find a room."
Then,I see a case.

If you read on in the police officer's report, he states that he "recognized this as a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct."
If you read the statute on disorderly conduct that applies in Minnesota you see that it states:
609.72 DISORDERLY CONDUCT Subdivision 1. Crime.
Whoever does any of the following in a public or private place, including on a school bus, knowing, or having reasonable grounds to know that it will, or will tend to, alarm, anger or disturb others or provoke an assault or breach of the peace, is guilty of disorderly conduct, which is a misdemeanor:
(1) Engages in brawling or fighting; or
(2) Disturbs an assembly or meeting, not unlawful in its character; or
(3) Engages in offensive, obscene, abusive, boisterous, or noisy conduct or in offensive, obscene, or abusive language tending reasonably to arouse alarm, anger, or resentment in others.
A person does not violate this section if the person's disorderly conduct was caused by an epileptic seizure.
It would appear that section (3) is the one they applied to him.
A stretch?? Interesting question. Then why plead guilty?

That is kind of creepy when you are sitting on a toilet stall and have someone next to you touch your foot and brush their hand under the partitian.
He is probably in the early stages of dementia and his latent homosexual urges are emerging.

It's bizarre to me. I tend to focus on his conviction, which is ordinary disorderly conduct. I might have gotten disorderly under the same circumstances.

I agree that when a Conservative does this, it is creepy. The man has a problem and it's going to cost him his position.

In Washington they say this about taxes, "if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, its a duck." I think you can say the same about homosexual senators.

As I've said before, what are the police doing tricking in the bathroom to start with? Don't we pay them to look for real criminals?
