to take care of my family,make sure my husband is happy,the kids stay out of trouble,my adult kids know that home is safe when the world tries to suck them in

Compassion. Sharing what I can do for the good of my neighbors. If I had a family, I would say that was my major responsibility, but as I am a widow with no children, I feel duty-bound to be of help to others to the extent it does not cause me undue harm.

At this point in my life, I have many responsibilities . . . but they all stem from the MAJOR responsibility, which is to care for and provide for my children.

Raising my offspring into some semblance of proper upstanding adults able to function capably in the Big Bad World without resorting to violence, lies or subterfuge to get the things they want....once Ive done that I can throw in the towel....or so Ive heard.....my mom is 65 and wonders if she will ever get to "throw in the towel".....not if I can help it.
