just lowered my minutes to 1400 Now the lady at the other end of the phone said that it would not extend my contract is that true? Oh please tell me that is true

and the answer is false.
when ever you change your price plan there is a one year extension to your contract.
only way you beat this is if you have a two year and you fell under the umbrella. that is rare.
call again and ask for a supervisor as the person you talked did not know the policy
