couch potato someone who sits on the couch and doesn't move except for the lips----"while your up will you get me-"---- reminds me of my long lost hubby------ now I'm a computer equivalent although the brain is used in a better way---you actually have to think ! and all the fingers are used----whoops no just a few on each hand whereas on the TV remote you usually use only the thumb---yes I am guilty of this as well but to get back to the question the computer equivalent is a much more alert and active person re the brain and finger work. I feel a lot better about the whole situation so thanks .

The phrase has coined the spin-off mouse potato (or sometimes computer potato), meaning one who spends too much time in front of a computer.

a really slow, rather big computer with a really dodgy mouse which doesn't move properly...and with a printer that is...lets say...not so good and vibrates big time when printing...oh and takes like 10 minutes to print one page of writing...bad enough???
