And the very next day when you woke up you realized that one whole year had just gone; and that last night you were celebrating yourself that is getting older & older & getting old! lol!

I do celebrate it, aware of time passing by very fast even in the moment when we count last seconds of the Old Year (should that also be with capitals, I wonder?).
I don't sleep that nigth, so I am not waking up in the morning, lol.

Nope. It's just another day, the restaurants and stores are all closed, there's nothing on TV except boring parades and even more boring old movies.
The most nothing day of the year, in my opinion.
But it is a good day to read books and insult people here on YA.

January 2nd and March 18th(day after St Pat's) are the two days of the year when many new "pigeons" come into the AA program.

I did celebrate it when I was younger.
But now I am 20 but I feel like I'm 80.
I just decided to quit drinking on New Year.

Quite literally for me as my birthday is on New Years. Tee hee hee... I celebrate, but I rarely go out to celebrate - too many crazy people out and the drinking and driving just scares me.

Am just about there, and no longer celebrate the New Year much. Time has speeded up incredibly... I hardly have time for many holidays, and they get all scrunched up that time of year, you've noticed?
