If only....
The majority allow it for many reasons. These reasons have been allowed to develop by this Government since it came to being.
There have always been lawless children and gangs and problems, of course there have, but the difference under this government is that 'the majority' are made to feel guilty, racist, fascists, whatever.
If you manhandle a child, you can be arrested for assault even if its obvious to everone it was in self defence, and dont think this is the fault of the police....because the governments brainwashing has got to the police too. No one is safe.
If you so much as sneeze at an affro carribean, asian, polish etc..person you can be branded a racist.
We are dubbed as being too harsh if we put the blame at the doorstep of one group of people.
But by allowing these views to manifest the government has created a climate of fear for its own civilians just by their inactions.
This has just allowed the youths to gather strength in the fact no one will touch them, so they grow in confidence, they turn to many things including knives and guns etc... I mean look, what does the government do in response to knife and gun crime? Announce a gun and knife amnesty. Great, because every criminal is going to hand in their gun and knife. I can tell you now, NO CRIMINAL is going to hand in his knife or gun, Simple. Its a waste if time, but we allow it to happen, We allow the government to tie the hands of our police forces. Thats right, its Police Service officially now, not police force. Dumbing down see.
If the police were allowed more powers and freedom, whilst still having close scrutiny then maybe the fear would be placed back into the hands of the Minority.
If the public majority see the police have no impact on the youth, what hope does average joe bloggs have in having an impact on the knife weilding yob across the road.
Makes me mad ! Clearly.
Give power to the police and you give power to the people.
But guess what....the liberal MINORITY shout louder than the MAJORITY in this country, so the police will have no better powers anytime soon if this government remains in power
They are cutting police pay increases below that of inflation rates, they are aiming to employ more PCSO's than PC's...
Decide for yourself if the government are serious about fighting crime.

People just think that it's WRONG. Kinda like how a man and a dog should not mate. And so they think that these people could do whatever they like but they should not be allowed to 'marry' by the state. It's not necessarily about religion either. It's just about people thinking that it's just not right.. just as you would think that a man shouldn't have sex with a dog. Also California overall voted for Red not Blue. I think your question is a good question. Personally I am staying neutral on the issue because I see both sides. Also I think that if there were more studies done to implicate that homosexuality is definitely not a choice, then people may warm up to marriage. I think many people just think that there is too much fluidity going around, too much bisexuality as well. My friend was "bisexual"... really she was heterosexual but enjoyed experimenting. That is a choice. EDIT Some dogs hump humans all the time (with clothes on). Assuming that it WAS consentual, would you support it? EDIT If the animal was enjoying it and the human was enjoying it, how is that animal abuse? How can you judge what an animal's ethics should be? Why is it necessarily wrong because a human is enjoying it? I think that on this argument, if an animal is ENJOYING it, an animal does not (and will not ever, perhaps) know that it is wrong and therefore it is not animal abuse. Let me get this straight, I am not for beastiality. But I pose the question to you again. Let's say that a dog psychologist studied dogs and said that dogs like having sex with humans and cannot be emotionally scarred. If the animal was enjoying it, would it be wrong?

...good observation, which proves that we dont live in a democracy. We get told that we do & unfortunately most people believe it.Still its probably better than civil war. The public needs to have more say & voting rights on individual issues as they come along.
